Ask, Tell and Command

You are in charge of your horse. Here are some things that you should work on in handling and riding your horse:

	Keep your horse’s attention on you.
	Be reasonable but insist on prompt responses to your signals.
	Never punish your horse when you make a mistake and give the wrong signal.
	Don’t let your horse eat grass with a bit in his or her mouth.
